Who owns what
Creators and other rightsholders retain ownership of their original videos, images, audio and other creator-owned material. Coffee X Media and Mode Digital Media retain rights in Mode-created editorial writing, branding, design and original media. Featuring or embedding third-party creator content does not transfer ownership to Mode.
Source attribution
Creator-led features are designed to remain connected to the originating creator and source. When an original source is available, Mode aims to identify the creator and provide an appropriate path back to the original source or channel.
Copyright or takedown requests
If you believe content on Mode infringes your rights, or you are a creator or authorized representative requesting review or removal of creator-owned material, use the Contact page and choose Creator rights / takedown request.
Please include enough information for the request to be investigated, such as your name and relationship to the work, the Mode URL involved, the original work or source you are referring to, the nature of the concern, and a reliable way to contact you.
What happens next
Mode may temporarily hide, remove, replace or otherwise restrict disputed material while a request is reviewed when appropriate. Requests and resulting actions may be logged internally so the history and outcome remain auditable.
Future creator intake
A creator may also ask Mode to stop considering future work for automated intake. Stopping future posting does not automatically erase already-published editorial coverage unless the request also concerns existing material or Mode independently determines that an existing page should be changed or retired.
